Fun Facts:
In 1979, my parents introduced me to the the importance of career & technical education through a social science fair in Evangeline Parish. The topic explored and presented on 'The Economic Impact of Manufacturing'. It was one of my first introductions to the importance of career and technical education. I learned that for every engineer or project manager, there were eight to twelve skilled technicians that supported the mission of a manufacturing plant. My father, Jim, was a plant manager and my mother, Martha, an educator.
