Jennifer Lee is a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and a practicing attorney at Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Recile & Hayes, L.L.P. Her practice focuses on business and employment law. Ms. Lee has been an attorney for over 20 years, working with companies in a variety of industries.

She has been a board member of various community organizations, including the Salon and Spa Relief Fund, Child Advocacy Services, United Way of Southeast Louisiana, and the American Cancer Society for Tangipahoa Parish. Ms. Lee has also served as a board member of Hammond Chamber of Commerce and the Hammond Ponchatoula Sunrisers Rotary Club, where she led the organization as its President.

Ms. Lee holds M.B.A. and Juris Doctor degrees from Louisiana State University and a B.A. degree in Business Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. Before attending law school, she briefly taught high school and saw the value of technical and vocational education.

Ms. Lee was appointed to the Board on September 9, 2022, to serve as an at-large member through July 1, 2025, as required by statute.
